DSO National Laboratories comprises an 8-storey Built-to-Suit building with 265-lot multi-storey carpark. It is linked to DSO Phase 2 building, an 8-storey Built-to-Suit building with 195 carpark lots, which was completed in September 2015. The combined gross floor area totals up to approximately 69,016 square metres. The development won the BCA Green Mark (Gold Plus) Awards in 2013.

DSO has been a Science Park tenant for almost 30 years and considers the site a strategic location for their sensitive research activities. It is close to DSO’s Research Centre at end of Stockport Road on Marina Hill. DSO plays a pivotal role in the defence ecosystem with key customers that include the Ministry of Defence (MINDEF), the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF), the Defence Science & Technology Agency (DSTA), as well as other ministries and various statutory boards.

DNV Technology Centre was completed in June 2013. The 7-storey building is the Asia Pacific headquarters of Norwegian risk management company, Det Norske Veritas (DNV) and houses 400 staff. The building has a GFA of 9,855 sqm with 90 carpark lots. DNV-GL building won the BCA Green Mark (Gold Plus) Award in 2013 and the BCA Green Mark Pearl Award in 2015 for high standards in energy efficiency, water efficiency, environmental protection and indoor air quality.

DNV was the first tenant in Singapore Science Park 1 in 1982 and has been Ascendas’ Built-to-Suit tenant for over 30 years. DNV’s Clean Technology Centre is also located in Singapore Science Park 1. DNV is a leading risk management company and one of the world’s leading classification societies in the maritime and offshore sectors.
